Swap File
Need more swap but not more disk space to create a partition? Add a temporary swap file.
Solaris
[root@solaris]# mkfile 1024m /export/tmpswap
[root@solaris]# swap -a /export/tmpswap
[root@solaris]# swap -l

[root@linux]# mkswap tmpswap
